Help Transcribe Anti-Slavery Manuscripts

Virtual Transcribathon Anti-Slavery Manuscripts August 11, 3-5 pm, Zoom

Join the Holy Cross Libraries to virtually transcribe digital scans of handwritten documents written by 19th century anti-slavery activists. This collection of documents is hosted by the Boston Public Library. Read more about the manuscript collection and the transcription project here: https://www.antislaverymanuscripts.org/

This virtual event will be Tuesday, August 11, from 3 – 5 pm EST.

We will gather together on Zoom https://holycross.zoom.us/j/94627101468. We will create the transcriptions in the Zooniverse platform. Sign up for a Zooniverse account and get familiar with the platform here: https://www.antislaverymanuscripts.org/classify
