Come join the Libraries and the English Department for our Literary Social and Valentine workshop! Learn about the local history of Valentine’s Day cards and valentine poems written by Massachusetts poets, while making your very own valentine and having some treats. We’ll be in the Levis Browsing Room in Dinand Library on February 6 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Open to students only.
Come by Dinand Library to see our new display of books about and by African American artists in honor of this year’s Black History Month theme, “African Americans and the Arts.” And, plan a trip to the Worcester Art Museum to see artwork by Charles Ethan Porter, one of the artists featured above.
Celebrate International Love Data week with the libraries from February 12-16. Learn to love data by competing in a crowdsourcing data collection or taking part in a “citizen scientist” data party. More details to come…
