New Digital Exhibit: A Day in the Life

New Digital Exhibit

A Day in the Life: Student Life Through the Years is a new series of digital exhibits created by the staff of the College of the Holy Cross Archives and Distinctive Collections on the ArcGIS StoryMaps platform. These exhibits provide the viewer with snapshots of life at Holy Cross during different decades. The photographs, videos and other archival materials used to enrich this experience are drawn from the Archives’ collections. We chose to begin our historical tour of Holy Cross with the 1940s to highlight a promotional video that was digitized in 2020. More exhibits will be added to this series in the future – stay tuned for future additions!

Welcoming our new Peer Research Consultant!

Hi! My name is Liv Curnen, and I am the new Peer Research Consultant (PRC) in Dinand Library! I am a junior Sociology major and Deaf Studies minor from Auburn, MA. (I’m always close by!) This summer, I’ll be working with the awesome Dinand Library staff to keep us all connected through social media, so look out for posts with my signature, LC ’23! On campus, my favorite spot to do homework is the study space in the O’Kane basement, so you can usually find me working there! When I’m not doing homework, I’m usually working on something cool with our student-run theatre group, Alternate College Theatre (ACT). If you run into me on campus, I’ve usually got my favorite CoolBeans drink in hand, a black iced tea with an extra shot of raspberry in it. (I highly recommend giving it a try) In the fall, I’m really looking forward to connecting with students and helping them with their research! You’ll be able to book an appointment to chat with me, or, you can visit my office, Dinand 203! LC ’23
